My Coke Fest 2008 Mobile WAP site
 
As part of The Ultimate Superfan promotion You Know Who built a mobile site for Coke.

The site featured the bands that were performing at My Coke Fest 2008, as well as other festival details. The fans got wallpapers and videos do download for free.
 
 

Ultimate Super Fan, Coke and Nandos promo
 
The Ultimate Superfan promotion made SMS, MMS and a mobile site as part of the promotion. Other areas of the activation was promoted in Nando's stores exclusivly. 5FM also played a part getting consumers into the stores, and doing the final draw between contestants.

This promotion asked fans to send a unique code on the Coke bottle, followed by a MMS picture of themselves. The MMS images were posted to the My Coke Fest 2008 site.

Together with Wireframe we built a moderation tool for the MMS pictures that were send in by fans.
 
 

Nokia Trends Lab MMS experimentation
 
Nokia Trends Lab is the only multimedia experience that gives you a backstage pass to extreme digital entertainment. It's experimental, it's wild and it involves you!

Again this was a colaborative project with the iKineo , Opera Interactive and Wireframe teams. Working together to produce an integrated mobile and internet project.
 
 

SMS campaigns for Jack Daniels, Southern Comfort, Hennessey and Tullamore Dew
 
iKineo, our activation partners requested us to send out a series of customised SMS messages to their permission database of, Jack Daniels, Southern Comfort and other alcoholic bevarages.
 
 

Southern Comfort Mardi Gras goes mobile
 
Working with the kick ass iKineo, Opera Interactive and Wireframe teams we produced the various elements of a mobile campaign for the Southern Comfort mardi gras promotion.

The campaign lasted a month and included a promotions on 5FM on the DJ Fresh show every day with a SMS, and MMS competition. We also built a mobile site for the entrants where they could go and download ringtones, wallpapers, and videos from SonyBMG a partner of Opera Interactive.
 
 

Combining mobile and cinema
 
The guys from STICK came up with a clever idea, to make use of Coke's 'Pirates' viral commercial in conjunction with the launch of Pirates of the Caribbean at the end of May.

You Know Who did the delivery of the viral campaign with their Bluetooth technology at two of the busiest cinemas in Gauteng, Menlyn Park Shopping Centre and Monte Casino. The campaign received over a 1000 downloads in 4 weeks.
 
 

FNB prepaid airtime sales promotion
 
You Know Who completed a Bluetooth promotions for FNB. We were promoting prepaid airtime sales at PSL soccer matches, and taxi ranks across the Gauteng area. This is the first time that You Know Who has done promotions for sporting events and everyday commuters.
 
 

MediaCompete MTN pitch
 
MediaCompete recently pitched for the MTN account and asked You Know Who to assist them in preparing some of the material that was used during the pitch.
 
 

My Coke Fest, mobile broadcast campaign
 
Coca-Cola with all their partners produced and awesome festival this year.

You Know Who assisted with giving fans the lowdown of the bands performing. We gave fans their own voice by broadcasting their thoughts on the day, that were recorded by Missing Link to the fans cellphones.
 
 

MXit, SMS and Bluetooth campaign
for Microsoft's XBOX 360
 
November 17 was a BIG day for many of the guys who bought the new XBOX 360 game console from Microsoft. The day marked the release of Gears of War; a kick-ass title that has raised the bar in next-generation 3rd person shooting.

You Know Who did a Bluetooth campaign in three stores for the release. We put together a short video clip of the new title, and sent it out with a SMS competition. We also did a two day promotion on MXit.
 
 

Bluetooth mobile downloads for
Coke side of life at marketing event
 
At the recent Marketing Excellence Awards hosted by Johnnic and Sunday Times, Busines Times , we sent out short "Coke Side of Life" commercials, via Bluetooth, to attendees' mobile phones for Coke.

Out of 800 people attending the gala event, 200 had their Bluetooth activated, and 175 selected to download the viral commercial. That's an 85 percent response rate!
